Working circuit.

Today I received the new Nixies from Romania and dropped everything I was doing to solder them to the board.
Such beauty. Much tech. So Soviet. wow

Putting the leads through the board wasn't as easy as I hoped, but it was definitely easier than with diminute leads.
My right hand was trembling after finishing soldering nonstop all the tubes.
Connecting both boards. Here goes nothing...
And it works! I was half-expecting some error code, or it not working at all. But it did.

After setting the time (and date, which is not displayed here) in the clock mode.

The Divergence mode, with different timelines from the anime and the visual novels.

Now there is only the aluminum case that needs to be done, and my first divergence meter will be finished!

In the meantime I'll use my circuit board holder as a stand.

Dummy board and Nixies

After getting all the dummy parts and the bass wood, I finished the perfboard, glued all the components and the wood spacers, I glued the perfboard to the Nixie board and tried to solder the tubes.

However, the leads of the tubes are too short, and I could only manage to solder one, and barely. I'll have to get  more tubes in order to finish the project.

Note that I only soldered a few joints just to hold the Nixie in place.
